OZKAR HOPE died a few months ago(at age 84)...I met him at a coffee shop...in Hollywood...near Paramount studios...about 8 years ago...he was in his mid seventies...I thought he was retired...but he told me he was still Acting and always looking for work...I was impressed by his enthusiasm...and his never say die attitude...I invited him to my Award Winning workshop (The Total Workshop For Acting)...he was thrilled...he said it was hard getting into a good workshop at his age...and appreciated my offer and he would be there...next week... He showed up on time...ready to work...he gave me a copy of his picture and resume...and a bunch of promotional items...pens and postcards...all with his name and number...I noticed he was a former war Veteran...of the Korean War and Vietnam...When Ozkar got up and worked...he had a very large presence...and was a 'Wonderful Actor' with a GREAT attitude...that was exceptional and his enthusiasm was so radiant and sincere you could not ignore him or ever forget him...he showered everyone he met with love and compassion...he truly was a team player...and just loved the work...and was grateful for every...day...hour and each and every minute...there wasn't a moment he didn't try his best... His resume was that of a Blue Collar Actor...a lot of theater...and many classes...and a few TV roles...but nothing you would have remembered...even though once you met OZKAR HOPE you would never forget him... ...One day I realized many talented people die UNKNOWN and are never acknowledged...
